Located in the very heart of South America, join a Bolivia adventure tour to discover it’s extremely varied rugged landscapes, diverse climates and its Colonial villages. Our Bolivia Essential tour allows you to discover the city of La Paz, Sucre, Potosi, and Uyuni most surreal salt flat.
Day 1: Arrive in La Paz, transfer from the Airport to downtown in La Paz.
In the afternoon at 14:00pm enjoy a guided visit tour of the city (two hours approx.) Visiting the main square, Colonial streets, a view point and the witchcraft market area, then you will be transfer to your hotel. Once you finish the city tour, our guide will explain you about the followings day’s program. At 19:00pm you will have a welcome dinner. The city tour can be schedule according the time of your arrival.

Day 2: La Paz - Sucre
Transfer from your hotel to the airport for the local flight to Sucre, In the afternoon at 14:00pm you will have a guided visit, Sucre is the judicial capital of Bolivia, and it is often referred to as the “White City” due to the many old building painted in white color, you will visit the Museum of Indigenous Arts (ASUR) you will see the famous Tarabuco and Jalq’a weavings, the view point, the House of freedom, the main market and the main square.

Day 3: Sucre - Potosi
In the morning we will visit the dinosaur’s footprints (over 5000 of them) they are set just 5kms from the city center. Discovered on the grounds of the local cement company, the footprints have been turned into a major tourist attraction with the creation of a dinosaur-themed park which includes a museum dedicated to the findings, and a collection of life-size dinosaur sculptures including the enormous Tyrannosaurus.
In the afternoon at 2 p.m. you will have assistance from our guide in order to travel with a local line bus from Sucre to Potosi.
Potosi is classified world heritage of the UNESCO since 1987. In the XIX century when the silver mines produced fabulous wealth, Potosi became one of the largest and richest cities in South America with a population exceeding 200.000 people. Now a day the city preserves the characteristic of the Colonial time. Rest of the afternoon at your own.

Day 4: Potosi - Uyuni
In the morning at 09:00am you will have a guided visit of a cooperative mine and get a chance to see how the miners work moving backwards to the 16th century, when the region’s silver made Potosi the wealthiest city in the world. The tour allows you to experience the hard conditions that exists still now a day.
At 14:00pm you will have assistance from our guide in order to take the local bus from Potosí to Uyuni, the rest of the evening is at your leisure.

Day 5: Uyuni
At 09:00am you will begin the journey by visiting the train cemetery, where you can see the remains of nineteenth and early 20th century steam locomotives. Then we continue to Colchani, which is the main plant for iodization of salt, where we will see how the locals produce salt for human consumption. Then we drive on to the giant salt mirror, we will spend about one hour for a hike at Incahuasi Island located in the middle of the salt plains. You will see giant cactus and maybe the Andean rodent know as Viscacha, the island offers beautiful scenery and plenty of photo opportunities of the sunset right before to get back to your hotel.

Day 6: Uyuni - La Paz
In the morning you will be transfer from your hotel to the airport for local flight to La Paz at your arrival our guide will assist you with the transfer to your hotel in downtown. In the evening at 07:30 you will be transfer for the farewell dinner in a nice restaurant, know as “Peña”, where you will also enjoy a display of local music and folkloric dances for two hours before to get back to your hotel.

Transfer to the airport, to be schedule according to your flight departure.
